 West Burton Power Station
West Burton was one of the first operators to respond to the government initiative to encourage producers of power from coal to install Flue Gas Desulphurisation Technology.
Consteel worked with the main contractor FLS Miljø n the following areas:

  • Construction of the absorbers.
  • Installation of the booster fans.
  • Construction & Installation of the ductwork.
  • Construction of the limestone building.
  • Installation and monitoring of cranes.
  • Construction of the gypsum building
  • Installation of plant machinery
